Duncan B. Webster is the CEO of Authentic Asset Management Inc., Portfolio Manager, and Member of the Investment Committee. As CEO, he has executive oversight of the firm’s strategy, compliance, and resource management.

Mr. Webster has 35+ years of investment experience, is a CFA Charterholder and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.

Before founding AUTHENTIC, Mr. Webster was the Chief Investment Officer & Head, and a Board Member of CIBC Global Asset Management & CIBC Private Investment Counsel. Previously, he was the Co-Head of PIMCO Canada, and Team Head of portfolio strategy & capital markets at Allianz Investment Management. 

Earlier in his career, Mr. Webster was Global Strategist for equity proprietary and alternative investments, and Head of Global Markets Research of currencies and rates at HypoVereinsbank (Unicredit) in Munich, and Product Manager at Thomson Financial and a trader in London.

Mr. Webster served on the Board of the University of Victoria Endowment Foundation for 9 years.

Mr. Webster holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a BComm with great distinction from McGill University.
